Tutor
Dog Rescue was founded by Kim Grieff owner and certified trainer of The
Pet Tutor, a dog training business in Tomball
, a At
times, Kim's clients have personal situations which required their dog or puppy
be rehomed. Although Kim is
an advocate of doing everything possible to keep dogs in their homes, there
are times this just cannot occur. So
Kim created Tutor Rescue. a Tutor Dog Rescue takes only those animals from previous or current Pet Tutor clients. At times, Tutor Rescue will take in other unwanted dogs and puppies, however this is determined on a case by case basis. A Tutor Rescue finds homes through adoption events, newspaper ads, websites and word of mouth. Individuals interested in adopting a Tutor Rescue pet must fill out an adoption application, be interviewed and complete an in-home visit in order to ensure the needs of both the individual and the pet are met. When a pet is released to Tutor Rescue, it receives a health exam by a veterinarian, required vaccinations appropriate for its age, spay/neuter and any medical care necessary to maintain good health. Adoption fee for adult dogs over 4 months which have been spayed/neutered is $95. The adoption fee for puppies under 4 months is $95 plus a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. All puppies must be spayed or neutered by the age of six months and proof must be submitted to Tutor Rescue in a timely manner. Deposit will be returned within 5 business days of receipt.
